Since downloading the new app I don't get notified of orders, and the orders I've had don't go through to Royal Mail click and drop even though it says my shop is linked. I've checked my app settings on my phone and they're all set to on.
Is this a known issue? I don't sell much so can't really be checking the app every 5 minutes, and also really don't want to miss any orders!
Also super awkward that the Royal Mail integration isn't working as I can't purchase postage through Etsy (it tells me it's not available for letters), so I'm having to manually enter every address etc for each order - very time consuming!
Lastly - Is there seriously no way to actually contact anyone from Etsy? Was going round in circles in the help centre because there was no FAQ that answered my question.... ?
@StickersByGem: The notifications problem is a known issue. A quick search would show you lots and lots of threads in this forum about issues with app and eMail notifications. The consensus is that a seller needs to check their shop at least daily via a browser until these issues are resolved.
Perhaps a fellow Royal Mail user will be able to assist you with the other problem.
My Click and Drop integration stopped working when the tracking system was updated The solution delete your Royal Mail integration and visa versa, Fairly easy to do on Royal Mail , its in your account area under apps on Etsy. Then add again Hopefully this will work for you
You might need to reset the integration in Click & Drop. Although I'd give it a few days as there is maintenance on the 26th. The integration works well for me but I set it all up on a desktop mac.
I've never had much luck with notifications on the old app. It worked on my phone for a bit (years ago) but then the entire app stopped working because my phone is too old. On my tablet the notifications never worked. I haven't even installed the new app but I heard it is buggy. Best to just check your shop using the website every evening.
