Order is directly marked as completed

My orders of digital prducts, which I usually complete and upload when ordering, are marked as closed immediately after receipt.

I can no longer upload the files and always have to communicate with the buyers by mail.

It's a glitch.

Try editing them, using the old listing format if possible. Edit the type (digital to physical) or the date (made to order to a date), publish and immediately re edit back and publish.
