Yesterday, a customer placed an order, and this evening it suddenly showed that it was, CANCELLED. (Not by me)
Now, it is showing that it’s not cancelled and all is fine.
I’ve seen a pending order before, but not this.
Has this happened to anyone?
I had something like that a few days ago. I don't know why the first order was canceled. Etsy can do that for payment issues, fraud, etc. I wasn't notified of the order at all. My customer placed a second order a few hours later. If you click the customer's order history, does it show 1 order canceled & a new order? That's what I had on my end. So it wasn't the same order that just re-appeared as "not canceled". It was a new second order.
No, nothing under order history.
Since I posted this, which was a few hours ago, it has fluctuated many times.
Happened to me last month ... received a paid order, I shipped it out 1-2 days later, then right afterwards the order showed "payment pending" ... I had to quickly file a package intercept which took forever to get it back ... but a few days after shipping, the order changed back to payment cleared. I did reship the order back out to the buyer who was aware of what I did (package intercept) ... she wasn't too happy about it, but I told her I had to do what I felt was best to protect my business. Hopefully she understood!
Oh dear, what a fiasco! This is exactly what is happening. In fact, this order keeps switching! One minute it’s cancelled and ten minutes later, it’s not! I’m really feeling uneasy about even shipping it out. Maybe, I should cancel the order (when it’s not cancelled) and contact the buyer to order again?

This was the first thing I checked.There is no change on the payment page.
