Orange dot shows on my profile but without any order being placed. Since yesterday when I entered my profile there is the orange dot, which means that an order has been placed, but unfortunately when I go to the dashboard there is nothing there. I logged out but the orange dot doesn'tt leave from the profile when I log in again. Is this a glitch - bug? Does anyone know if this problem can be solved and how? Thanks in advance
Problem solved. Eventually the orange dot left on its own. I had sent a message with the issue to etsy but I do not know if it was corrected from the support team or by itself because they have not sent me a reply yet.
Unfortunately, none of this is happening 1 orange dot on your profile means you have 1 sale, if you have 2 orange it means 2 sales etc etc When you have a message then the orange dot appears next to your photo and is a separate orange dot from your sales.
The same thing happened to a bunch of sellers a while back too, including me. There are many threads about it. Just search for "order not showing" to see them. I can't recall how it was resolved though.
@HazelsSewingSuppliesand @mommawhazelsquilts: Buyers don't have to leave reviews, so why should this prevent sellers who might buy something from seeing their orders?
An orange dot appears when you have a purchase that has not been reviewed. It has nothing to do with having to leave a review - although we don't have to leave a review, we sure get reminded.
