Orange dot above favorites heart?

Does anyone know what the orange dot above favorites heart represents?
Mine showed up today, but no info & nothing different when I click on it...other than taking me to my favorites page.

At least that ever irritating pop-up banner is gone though!!! *dancing for joy*

Are you using the App when you see this Orange Dot? (I only use a desktop computer), and have not seen that as of yet. Sounds like another test.

It just means there is a notification. Just click on the heart and the notification should show and then the dot will go away.

Yep, it went away, but I didn’t see any difference when clicking on it...now I do though.  Oh joy...another change to confuse buyers.  They sure love to keep us guessing these days.

I see this orange dot above favorites. It shows me new items from shops I've favorited. They used to show up under the "bell icon" -- but now that one is titled DEALS ~! 

Deals -- I guess Etsy is determined to make this a discount site. I wonder if that's where the Blue Light Special icon will appear too.

Found it! A bubble is in the top right corner of my favorites page & it says, “Updates.”  
It’s where the sale & new listings info are listed...instead of the dropdown under the bell.

Yes and now it's DEALS (under the bell) and the coupons I've been sent from sellers are there, now.
