I've had a persistent orange dot next to the STATs icon on my dashboard for at least 1 week.. Clicking it gives 2 options.. Shop traffic and Marketplace Insights with a blue NEW banner. Having clicked on the Marketplace Insights to review the info and then clicked on every possible thing for clarification on that page. nada.. The dot remains even after clearing cookies, sign in, sign out and the orange dot remains.. Annoying. Add to that many times I will open my dashboard page and ignore it for a few hours while working on some other site.. I come back to view my dashboard and a new order has posted but instead of an orange dot signifying it's new. there is a grey dot even though I haven't looked at the order or the order page...
The orange dots are becoming increasingly erratic and IMO have lost reliable or imperative meaning.
I've turned to using my email to check when I get a sale.. I have the orders page bookmarked and avoid the dashboard altogether.. It's filled with useless info for the most part.
