Hi, for a new listing I'm making I mistakenly selected "I offer more than one" under the optional materials tick box. I had copied a listing that was set on plastic, but I wasn't able to de-select plastic so I selected "I offer more than one", hoping that would unstick it. It didn't work. What I want to select is metal. Now I can't even save the draft, because it wants me to add variations, but I don't actually have any. I often find the optional boxes of Materials and Primary Colours tricky to use. Mostly it is because I'm unable to deselect a choice. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
Are you using a browser or the Sell on Etsy app?
I'm just poking a listing in a browser to try and re-create but under "Materials" I can type in various things and click "Add" in the same way as tags, and I can click the "X" to remove the material.
Perhaps that functionality varies based on the category?
In the "Primary Colour" menu for instance I can change it from a selected to the first option which is "Choose primary colour" and then it takes it away.
I can't find an option now but I remember at one time I had to hold shift or CTRL or something on the keyboard when clicking something to deselect it but I think Etsy have fixed up whatever that applied to.
I'm using a browser. I will have a go at what you suggest. I don't have anything but a tick, and clicking on it does nothing. But I'll try the shift & CTRL suggestions.
Solved it. I just have to delete! What a concept!!
