Old infringement notification popping back up

Has anybody else had this happen? I keep seeing this banner notification “We’ve received a notice of intellectual property infringement from [same dingleberry who went after me before]…” And then I have a panic attack and look to see what’s deactivated and nothing is, and there’s no email from Etsy. Today was the third time this notification popped up. It popped up yesterday and it popped up a couple months ago. The original infringement notice happened back in May.

Is the item still in either the solds or inactive file? I think it can still be picked up, if it hasnt been deleted. Just a thought...

This has happened to me too with an item that was de activated by Etsy a couple of years ago. It popped back up 2 or 3 times since then and like you, when the banner popped up I had a panic too before realising it was the old one from 2 yrs ago. Having just read the above comment I have just deleted the inactive item- should have thought of it before!

Just delete the listing.

There’s no inactive listing to delete. (All of them were reinstated).  So it could be triggered by the ones in solds? That might make sense in terms of timing - I sold two of them this month.

Same thing is happening to me.  I do not sell anything for Barbie or Mattel.  Never received an email from Etsy.  Have no idea what listings they are referring to.

This is a zombie post, so they'll probably shut it down, but do you have any listings deactivated in the Inactive folder?
