This is my first time posting and I want to tweak my shop this year to make it better. I noticed, while looking at other shops, that when I selected an item in their shop, there would be a click-able banner with the shop's name and their number of sales. My shop does not have the number of sales listed when I select an item. How can I get this to show??
I can see that you have 49 sales.
and I can see that you’ve blocked that number so I can’t click on it to see exactly what you sold.
@KarenAdamsStudio I can see you have sold 49 items and I can see the items you have sold, not blocked for me
How can you see the items sold? What platform are you looking at my shop? PC, MAC, ipad, phone?
I don't see that any of the shops have their sales numbers linked to exactly what they have sold.
I wish I could attach a picture of what I am talking about. The number of sales is not the one on the shop's home page, but when you click on an item in the shop. I'm currently viewing on a mobile phone view.
I went to FeltOnTheFly and you have your sales listed on any of the items I click on.
iphone or android? What mobile browser are you using? Also, are you logged into your shop while looking at your own listings?
Android.
Chrome.
Yes logged into shop while looking at my own listing.
Would that be the reason I can't see what other shops have sold by clicking on their sales numbers?
It might be the reason you're not getting this clickable banner thing, because they are your own listings.
I've looked at a listing in your shop and feltonthefly's shop, android chrome, and am not seeing any clickable banner at all.
Is there a way to upload an image as to what I am talking about??
I am on a Tablet using Chrome, but can also see this info on my PC and if the shop allows their sold listings to be viewed you can just click on their sales number under the shop name and it shows the items that have sold.
Where can I change this setting to allow visitors to see what's been sold??
Sorry if I am not understanding but visitors can already see what items you have sold just by clicking on the 49 sales under your shop name.
I can see what has been sold. Your 49 sales, clicked on show each item.
It sounds like you may be in a test that I saw that was similar last year. For a while, Etsy was highlighting the shop name and number of items sold. Yes, it was clickable ON the ITEM page.
Of all the responses, this makes the most sense. I'm not crazy and I'm pretty tech savvy a a technology teacher. A lot of this would be resolved if I was able to upload a screen shot of what I was talking about.
I see you have 49 sales. It is near the bottom of the left column when you are on your store's home page. Yours also shows exactly what you have sold. This is a Setting in your store to show that, or not. If you choose not to show things you've sold, it won't be clickable.
If it is in the banner of a store, the shop owner probably put it there themselves when they made their banner, and I doubt if they keep it accurate.
It sounds like you are looking at the number of reviews.... " The number of sales is not the one on the shop's home page, but when you click on an item in the shop. I'm currently viewing on a mobile phone view."
The only number I see within an item in a shop, and it is not clickable, is telling you how many reviews the shop has, not their total sales.
I can click on 49 sales and it shows me what was sold. If there is a black line underneath it is clickable.
You can change this under Settings Options. Mine cannot be seen.
I understand what you are saying. It must be a test, because some are seeing it and some are not. I don't see it, but I'm very seldom in tests.
It makes sense that you wouldn't be able to see it in your own shop, since you can't buy from you. View your shop in incognito mode and you should be able to see it. Users are in tests, not shops.
