Notification on Shop Manager that corresponds to nothing…

I think it's been a week now. I have a notification on my Shop Manager that corresponds to nothing…

Oh, I have X'ed out list items, most of which are like 6 months old+ and never indicated a notification before. Nope, that 1 in the orange circle is still there.

I've paid my Etsy bill before the due date. Nope, that 1 in the orange circle is still there.

I contacted Etsy support, lol. I mean I got an umimpressive 4 paragraph response that was a sh** ton of words that did not at all address the issue.

So, hey, did some numb nuts decide there's now an omnipresent 1 notification on the shop manager for listings expiring or something? You know, even though in my 14 year tenure here there was never a notification that literally wouldn't go away on the shop managers for listings expiring, so, it definitely seems like a bug.

Yes, the little 1 in the orange circle is annoying me, since it seems to correspond to absolutely nothing.

I had to laugh...I can see you trying not to look at the orange dot, but there it is. I gottcha. I had a red light on the little box from AT&T under my tv and it drove me nuts. I finally put a piece of tape over it, but that wouldn't be very feasible for you. Just mostly wanted to answer your post to say I love your shop. Good luck getting rid of the orange dot from H***.

Where in the shop manager does the dot appear? It would be next to Dashboard, Messages, Orders and Shipping or who knows what else. Or does it only show above the Shop icon on your Shop home page?

Well, I'm obviously not the OP, but I'm currently suffering the same or similar thing. It only appears on the shop home page 'shop manager' icon. Once you click on that, there are no visible notification dots.

This happens to me as well until I close and re-open the browser at which time it disappears. If that does not work for you, maybe clearing your cache will do it.
