Hello,
I could really use some guidance please. I am not receiving email notifications of new orders in my shop.
It is only when I randomly check my shop that I see items have been placed in the carts. However, when checking Orders, it's empty.
It's upsetting that orders are just sitting there with no availability for me to respond to the customer. My response time has always been excellent along with keeping the customer informed as to the processing of the order.
My email address is current. I've relogged into my account but issue did not populate. My monthly bills have ben automatically paid and the credit card information is current. I've even rebooted my computer. I feel I've covered all the bases.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Adding items to carts is not a sale. Many people do that for various reasons.
@EmbellishMeGorgeous: Sadly, there are lots and lots of threads in this forum about issues with app and eMail notifications. The consensus is that a seller needs to check their shop for messages and orders at least daily via a browser until these issues are resolved. But as noted, an item being in a cart does not mean that there will ever be a sale.
THIS!
Until it's resolved is a very positive attitude.
It is always best to check your shop dashboard from a browser at least once a day as notifications can be glitchy or go amiss.
A little confused about your post, you say you are not receiving notifications for new orders, but when you check your shop, items are in carts but no orders showing.
Did you mean, that you wanted to contact potential customers who have put items in their carts? These are not orders. Contacting potential customers is illegal in most countries and would result only in having your dashboard messenger privileges removed.
You can set up a promo code under the marketing tab in your dashboard, if customers have signed up to receiving emails, then they will receive the code you set up for them.
Sorry. My error in reporting and wasting everyone’s time reading my post. I understand just because item is in a cart doesn’t mean it has been purchased. Until item is purchased am I able to verify with customer. Unfortunately I was getting ahead of myself. My apologies.
