Is anyone not receiving the payment notification emails or other selling related emails from Etsy? I've been having the problem for about 3 days. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help!
I had never any problem with receiving Etsy emails until a year or so ago... now they've become so inconsistent, I can't depend upon them anymore. I've given up ... if they do come in, I file them as usual, otherwise, I have to check my shop more often. And it's not just transaction emails for sales, it's also for orders I've placed, in addition to shipping label purchases, deposits to my bank account... totally hit or miss. I can't blame my email provider, but just in case I do check my spam folder because the spam filter is seriously irregular and often sends emails to spam that I have to restore to inbox and mark as "not spam"... but I haven't seen it happen with any Etsy emails, so I suspect it's on this end.
I cover myself by checking frequently, even when I'm not working in my shop, and I make sure that my messages are set up for auto-reply, because those email notifications aren't reliable either. IMHO Etsy needs to do a serious re-vamp of their notification system... it's far too prevalent, rather than an odd glitch now and again.
Thank you so much for letting me know. I only very rarely had any email notification problems with Etsy until now, so it's good to at least know that it's not a new issue. I'm still only getting sporadic emails. I don't know if this is site wide but there are a few other complaints on other threads. It's very difficult as I depend on those notifications coming through especially payment emails. Thanks again for taking the time to let me know.

Thank you very much for pointing out this thread. I have tried some of the suggestions but am still not receiving all the emails I should be getting. This has only happened once in a while and not for long spells on Etsy over the many years of selling here, but right now it's really bad.
@SpinCycleFabrics : Relying on eMail communication is a little risky, too many things can go wrong from the time it leaves Etsy until you receive it, most of them beyond either of yours control. As inconvenient as it may be, checking your Orders page periodically (preferably via a browser) is probably much safer.
Since I began noticing the missing emails, I've also noticed it hasn't happened with any other entity... not my Walmart, Amazon, QVC, Banks, Insurance... only intermittent email issues see, to be with Etsy. I notice when I purchase and print shipping labels, 2 per page, I'll get the first email, but if I print 2 more on a second page, I never get those email notifications... in fact, I just printed 4 today, and only received email notification for the first two... and only one of my copy the customer's shipping notification email, none for the other 3 orders, and they all were dated today. So nope, it's Etsy... unless of course, J Silverman has ticked off AT&T lol
Hi, I just wanted to follow up on this because I found a solution. I didn't let this go and I kept moving up the help chain. I got someone who suggested that I completely delete my email and enter a new one designated just for Etsy. I didn't want to but I did and it worked. I've been getting every single email from Etsy again without fail since I did this. If you can I'd give it a try. It was worth it to me because I just couldn't understand why it was happening, when like you, it wasn't happening with any other site.
