Not receiving customer’s orders ???

Hi fellow sellers!

Just wanted to pop on and see if anyone else has experienced issues recently with orders not coming through properly?

This morning, a customer messaged me on social media saying how excited they were about an order they’d placed, but I hadn’t received anything on my end. I messaged them back, and they followed up with Etsy support. Shortly after that, the order appeared on my dashboard and the customer received their confirmation email.

She was pretty convinced that contacting Etsy support triggered something.

I’ve always found Etsy orders come through fairly instantly, so now I’m wondering if there’s been a glitch and whether I/we might be missing orders that customers have placed but haven’t actually come through to the seller. Hopefully it’s just a one-off! This year has been pretty shocking in general compared to previous ones so maybe I’m clutching at straws!
