Hi All. Has anybody else faced this issue after enrolling for Etsy Payments India.
We were unable to verify the business information you entered.
Please review your business name and any identification numbers closely, make any necessary changes, and re-submit it for verification. You’ll have two re-verification attempts, after which your account will be locked. If you continue to have trouble, please contact your local tax authority or applicable government entity, where the business is registered, for more assistance.
This is the message I see at the top of Legal and Tax Information page.
I am a seller based out of India and this happened right after I enrolled for Etsy payments and there was an order. Ten minutes after I received an order, the shop was put on vacation. My shop is an old shop from 2019. But I received an email from Etsy saying "Congrats on 1st Sale" whereas I have more than 1k sales.
My personal ID is successfully verified but the business information needs to be verified by Etsy. They are taking close to 3 to 4 days to reply on email support. As asked by Etsy over the support email, I have submitted my business Goods and Services Tax Certificate as well as personal tax (PAN) card. Waiting for their reply now.
