This is not the first time this happened (I think 4 times in the last year) but I get an order where the buyer places their first name then last name in the street address field (I assume that field as the last name is on a new line) and then a city, state and zip only. So, of course you cannot generate postage with no street number and name. Why does Etsy (the site developers) allow this when any person understands you cannot mail something to just the name, city, state and zip (well, I suppose you could do a general delivery, but I am not touching that). It is really easy for the etsy developers to tie a US address into the system that generates postage and if it comes back saying postage not available then tell the buyer on their checkout that they cannot checkout with the address as entered. *groan*
Does anyone else ever have this issue?
