Hi all,
I'm a new seller, trying to get my shop up and running. Unfortunately, I submitted my social security number info with one number off (typo), so was suspended from moving forward. I immediately corrected the number, and submitted again as requested. That was 6 days ago! I cannot get a response, even adding on to my original request as well as submitting a second request. The note on my account says "Check back in an hour, we will send an email when your account is updated".
So frustrated, since there doesn't seem to be a chat or phone number to follow up with. Any suggestions?
Try to check your email spam box or junk mail box.
They can take up to 10 days to reply. Then usually, the first few replies will be canned responses that don't help. Just keep replying with the I Still Need Help link at the bottom of each response. If you can get the Need a Call Back link, you might get a faster response. But don't start any other emails outside of the thread you have open, or they will close that one and consider a new email a new problem, then you will have to start all over again with the canned responses and long delays.
Chat can't help with the problem you have, so don't bother with them. They will just send an email to Etsy on your behalf, which will start you all over again.
Thanks so much, this is helpful!
@1u2od9bg24tphxl5 You'll have to wait for etsy to fix the problem. In the meantime you may want to read the Seller Handbook and House Rules. Good luck with your shop.
Good luck with getting a reply. They deactivated a listing and I have no idea why. Sent them two messages, they never responded so I cannot list that item (a sewing pattern).
@Shelleyville did the vintage listing have a trademark name in the title, tags or description?
