Since early October I haven't received email notifications for orders or shipping.
I contacted chat support and he checked off most of my Account Settings
in my profile, which is for marketing, not sales and shipping. So I changed them
back to my preference.
Anyone else experiencing no email notifications? Has something changed?
Hi is it possible that it's a setting thats changed with your email provider and also is it possible they they have gone in your spam folder in your emails. I only check my spam folder twice a week. Sometimes if there has been an update with your email software that can cause an issue.
I stopped getting transaction email suddenly, one day, several years ago. Nothing changed on my end, in terms of email. Did the back-and-forth with Etsy Support for weeks, to no avail.
Since then, I only get a fraction of the business-related emails I'm supposed to be getting, and have gotten in the habit of checking my shop several times a day.
Ironically, the app notifications are all accurate, though sometimes delayed.
* If I get some etsy emails, but not all - how in the world can that be an issue on my end??
I had this happened once. Turned out that my email host - godaddy - kept copies of all received emails - and my limit was full.
There are quite a few threads in this forum about (the lack of) eMail and app notifications and there does not appear to be a helpful answer. The consensus is for shop owners to check their shop for messages and orders via a browser at least once per day until these issues are resolved.
Have you checked your email spam/junk folder for the missing emails? It could well be your email host is the problem, not Etsy.
None in spam. If my email host is the problem I don't know how to go about fixing it. I'll look into it. Thanks everyone for your help
Contact your email host. Find out if you have reached a limit. It is also possible they have changed protocol. You need to perhaps add Etsy as a preferred email.
It is advisable not to rely on email for contact but to visit shop daily.
I'm still getting them. They both come from noreply@mail.etsy.com.
Try adding that to your Contacts in your email .
(If the address gets zapped in this post, it's noreply at mail dot Etsy dot com.)
If you add the app and enable notifications you will get them that way at least
I don't use the app. My sales notifications stopped abruptly after 9/22. Nothing in junk, spam, trash etc. No changes to mail acct.
