No Tracking/label date and Dispatched on time? says No. The opposite is true.

Hopefully someone can help with this , new shop , new to Etsy and I'm pretty sure im doing stuff right . Had a bunch of sales but one of them is showing as not having a tracking number and also says "No" to dispatched on time. This info is in the downloaded CSV file of my orders.

This order does have a tracking number on it and was dispatched on time, in fact it is already delivered to the customer.

It would be nice to get this sorted out as it affects my star seller stats.

@Geezer3DSimRacing: If the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. Was the order marked as complete on or before the scheduled ship by date?

Does the actual order show as at least "in transit"? Has the package been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available.

A order still in "pre transit" usually means that the tracking information AS ENTERED cannot be validated.

An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.

I always use the same courier and they are supported by Etsy.

The shipped date and correct tracking number and shipping company are all there on the order and yes it does say Pre-transit however as I stated , the customer already has his order delivered. I get that a wrongly entered tracking ID can cause an issue but its directly copy pasted from the couriers shipping website when I did the shipping order, the same process I have followed for all my other orders which all say the correct info on the downloaded CSV. Dont know maybe its me but Im pretty sure I did the order completion correctly.

Is there anyway I can re add the tracking number to see if it makes a difference ? (dont think it will though)

You have  72 hours to update the shipper and tracking number from the time you mark the order as completed https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015774228-How-to-Add-Tracking-and-Complete-an-Order-?segm...

What sometimes happens during any copy and paste is that a leading or trailing space is added. If that is the case here, it might make the tracking number unverifiable.

What happens if you click on the tracking number link from within the order?

so what happens next here ? Is this a purely community driven forum with suggestions to help out ( all are welcomed) or are Etsy staff monitoring here and will show up to offer a fix/help/suggestion ?

Gather pix of all your proof and contact Etsy with it so they can fix things.

I have had this happen before and etsy can and does correct your star status to reflect your correct info.

Glitches happen-- but make sure your proof is air tight.

Yes- the forum is just other sellers- Etsy is the only one who can fix this for you.

According to the rules, Etsy will not change the status on shipping, however, this is a problem for some reason Aftership has not recognized (unless you shipped after your processing time frame) so contact Etsy via email

@oneofakindbabydesign   The OP is in the Ne  therlands.  For USPS did you have the item scanned at the post office?  Use a scan sheet if picked up by the courier? Did you ship within your processing time frame?

There have been other sellers in the Netherlands reporting some issues with tracking.  I don't know if Etsy has done anything about this.  You could contact via email and ask.

@BagmakerSupply  when I click the tracking number in the order page I get the response below in my webbrowser.

however this does this on all orders not just this one. So looks like either Etsy have messed up the link or postNL have changed things their end.

@TheHomespunLoft  yep I think this is the way I will go , for me getting a star seller is a "nice to have" not a game changer , but I do like systems to work as they should.

Hello. We've discovered over 300 orders marked as untrackable and with "Pre-transit" status (manual tracking for our orders, not labels, and shipping carrier is Ukrposhta (from Ukraine). However, subsequent checks through Ukrposhta and Aftership tracking revealed that these orders were indeed delivered within the Etsy estimated delivery timeframe. Understanding whether the issue lies with our
tracking procedures or if it's a technical glitch is crucial for us to
address it effectively. 

I understand that it is crusial to complete order within proceeding time and add tracking code at the same day. What about shipping? Could it be later, is it fine?

I will appreciate any help with this issue. Thank you.

@TowerRex: "What about shipping? Could it be later, is it fine?" When you complete an order, you select the date on which you state you will ship so you are required to actually ship on that date. If Etsy sees a pattern of false completion / shipped dates they may take action against your shop.

What happens if you click on the tracking number link on the actual order? If it opens the courier's tracking page and shows the scan history then you have proof that the tracking information was entered correctly. In that case you should pursue it - while Etsy will not manually adjust Star Seller stats they can, in some cases, fix the underlying data and then the Star Seller stats will auto update (but not retroactively).

If the link does not work, make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order.
