No Star?

I recently met the minimums to be a Star Seller but 1 category seems to be stuck. Instructions say wait 24 hrs which I have. "Sales" showed 4 then into 5, but now shows pending.

For the SS Badge which came out on Dec. 1, you'll need to select "Last review period" on Star Seller.  Notice that right now it's defaulted to "Current review period".  What is displaying now will be for the next SS Badge, which comes out on Jan. 1.

The Metrics for sales is 5 sales and $300.00.

It says pending because you have to have been on etsy for 90 days from the date of your first sale.

As of today, 90 days ago was 9th September. If your first sale was after this date, then you haven't passed 90 days on etsy yet, and cannot be awarded star seller yet.
