New products going to drafts when published

Jump to solution

All the new products I created today are staying in Drafts, although I have published them and everything is filled out. I even went back and published them a 2nd time, but still they won't move to active. And I started by copying an existing active product.

Using Chrome and Windows 10 on a desktop computer.

OP, sometimes Etsy won't work well with Chrome. Try Edge browser which I find works best for Etsy.

Did you put them in Drafts? And you can't get them out of Draft now? Reason I ask, I use a desktop computer, Chrome, Windows 10.  When I reopened a couple wks. ago, it was the first time I used the New Listing Form. I was ready for it to glitch out on me, but I didn't have any trouble. I don't put anything in Drafts though (never have). I would Renew Sold > then Edit. Also Renew Inactive > then Edit. And for one listing I used Copy > Edit. Everything went well, no trouble (was pleasantly surprised. But I don't like when others are having trouble; Sellers shouldn't have a Listing Form hinder them from listing.

Agree with above, Etsy and Chrome aren't playing well together lately. Very irritating.

I only suggest this since I've had it happen 2 times. I always copy an existing too because filling everything out from scratch is beyond tedious but I noticed, either one or both happen sometimes:

Listing is published but takes forever to show up
Listing is published but has placed itself randomly and not at the top under recent. Usually close to the one I copied. Out of order so to speak.

I've never had one I publish stay in drafts, that's really weird.

Totally silly question and I know you are very well versed on listing but did you check your payment account to see if it's counting each listing? And hopefully not duplicating the charges if you've tried multiple times.

When all else fails, I resort to a different browser which tends to piss me off that I even have to just to get things to work like they should.

I guess that is the first sign.  I am absolutely blown away that you are shut down.
