New listing version question.

I have a question regarding the new listing version. I have been using the new version for some time but I also have several hundred listings using the old version. I have read nothing concerning listings that are in the old version.  Will listings in the old version still remain active for customers or will they have to be changed?

Listings that were created in the old listing form seem to automatically change to the new one

Yeah, and try revising one or trying to re-activate one with changes - you will have a lot of fun jumping around all over the place trying to find things...LOL  - but it's not really funny.

Listings made using the old version should still remain active until their listing time is over.  This has certainly been what Etsy have done in the past when they changed the listing form. However, if you need to change anything in the listing or if you manually renew listings, you will be taken to the new listing form.
