New listing form does not allow change to an individual shipping cost on an item

On the new listing page is there a trick to change the shipping cost once it is listed?  It doesn't allow me to change when trying to "change" or "edit" without it affecting all the other listings.

Are you using shipping profiles?

Nana, yes on an individual listing trying to change the first class cost to calculated shipping. I don't see any option.

Make a another separate listing profile and apply it to that listing.

A new profile doesn't just affect the listing I wish to change, it affect many others.  Why?

Sweetseam, Apparently there is no option but to do what EccentricHandbags suggests.

Still many kinks they have not addressed.

@JeepersKeepers - I have several pieces set up with item specific profiles, only takes a minute to do so. Then when they sell, just delete the profile. Really quite easy...used to do it that way on the old form that way too.
