My two cents: I live at my laptop and only use my iPad Air for the past 10 yrs on here, to listen for ALL notifications, from sales to likes to reviews to shop fave, etc. As of 2 AM yesterday/Saturday morning, my iPad Air, bless its old heart, lol, stopped receiving ALL notifications, not only from Etsy but from all over apps that I had loaded into it.
Just got off of a two hour chat with Apple (like Etsy, they have an awesome chat feature for help), after we spent all day Saturday troubleshooting. Well, we had to wipe my iPad and reinstall the old ios. But in the end, and after the very helpful chat rep had left the discussion, we figured out that Etsy, and also a few other companies that we know of so far (while adding back my many apps), have stopped all support for any ios less than 13.whatever. Mine will only go thru 12.whatever. This, to me, at least with Apple (my laptop is a Win 10 machine), indicates that ever since Apple launched ios 16 system recently, that app builders are no longer making them able to work on any ios that goes back farther than 13. Just a couple of weeks ago, prior to the major launch of Apple's 16, all was fine. I am pretty sure that this is all connected. Thoughts? Thanks for listening. : )
