New Shop and I'm so frustrated

I set up a shop over a month ago for digital downloads. I did all the verification steps (Bank, etc.) and thought I was good. Then customers started reaching out indicating that the proceed to check out button is greyed out and the message "All payment methods for this shop are temporarily unavailable" 

I tried searching everything and see nothing that I missed. However when I clicked on pattern it said I needed to turn on etsy payments and had a link box. I clicked on that and it brought me to the banking info. I've clicked everything and its all valid so I have no idea what's going on. I've even changed the bank account info trying to get it to trigger a re-verification and nothing. 

I'm so frustrated because I've sent message after message to customer support which are not being answered in the Help center section. I was able to speak to someone once who was in a live chat who gave me hope but then silence. a few hours later someone went into the chat window and asked if i was there, said since I wasn't responding they would assume the issue was fixed and since then nothing. How would I have known they were going to ONLY message in a message window that I didn't even have opened? 

How does anyone get to actually speak to someone on the phone? I have no idea what to do, how to get this fixed. I spent money on setting up the shop, over 110 listings etc and I'm not able to recoup anything by getting valid customer support.

Not much help, but can confirm the checkout button is definitely greyed out and payment methods unavailable.

thank you. I just don't understand why its so hard to get customer support. I checked the chat window again and can't even get it to retrigger a new conversation. 

 

I mean do I have to shut down the shop and try once again but with only one 1 item?  but then all the work I did is gone.

No, Etsy doesn't want to talk to us...ever... period. Help? Live phone support? No way! Etsy support is awful, and everyone knows it. They don't care about sellers, sorry to say

If you keep sending new messages, you get put down at the bottom. Click on "need more help" on the same message

in the chat window? I don't have a need more help option in the chat window. It only shows the chat history

Well I've never had chat but I have heard they sometimes are not the most knowledgeable about how Etsy works.

If you sent an email, reply back to that email that you still need help.

Your bank may not have been verified.  You need to add the deposit Etsy sends into the bank area of Etsy payments.  SOmetimes Canadians have issues getting this verified. 

You have to send in an email to Etsy with your phone number to have them call you.  There is no number for you to call.
