New Saved Replies glitch on messages

So just went to reply to a message from a customer and I can no longer get to them. This new 'Saved Replies' screen pops up as soon as I press on Messages on the tab and can't get out of it. I keep pressing the done button, but the screen stays. Go on chat and no option for help with messages, same on contact us. Busy time and can't access or reply to messages. This is getting very tiring. When will Etsy manage to introduce changes without these glitches?

Same here, tried 2 different browsers. Deleted history etc. No luck.

I reported it to them so they are aware of the issue.

Suddenly started during the past 2 hours

Had a normal message exchange with a customer 2,5 hours ago.

Now can't reply to customer's last message anymore due to this persistent pop up screen.

BTW, even when you try to fill in a new reply in order to get rid of this pop up screen it doesn't close.

I chatted with an agent and they said "Thank you for sharing this information with me! It seems this is an issue that is occurring right now, we are reporting this issue to our Technical Issues Team. I'm going to escalate this to our Team."

I am able to access messages in the Etsy Seller app. I am using that to message customer while they sort this out.

Found a workound (on chrome)

Right click. Click inspect. Look for a line of code that says <div class = wt-overlay...

Look to the right and you will see 

"aria-hidden="false"

Change that to true and it will disappear..
