It's not new, and others have reported about this in the past.
Searching the forums, I found a post going back to 2019 about this awful bug.
I see this too. My shop has had no activity since 6pm. Usually I'm busy on Fridays. I was wondering why its so dead.
This happens periodically. Don't know why but it's some kind of technical issue with the payment processor. They usually fix it quite quickly.
