I recently noticed that the order CSV I download from mailbox is incomplete—it’s missing several new orders that are clearly visible on the order. Has anyone else run into this? I’ve tried refreshing, switching browsers, but the problem remain. I asked online customer service and he told me that the latest information in the download file will be delayed by two weeks. Any tips on how to force a full export, or is this a known bug Etsy is working on? How should I export the order in full? Thanks in advance for any guidance!
The 2 week content delay was just implemented on my shop this morning. Yesterday it worked fine and new orders up to July 21 were on the CSV downloads. As of this morning the content of the CSV downloads now stops at July 8th. The download process and wait time worked as expected, it's the content of the downloads that is now delayed by 2 weeks. The note says "Note: Orders will be available to download two weeks after the order date." This is copied directly from the Download Shop Data page.
Up to the minute data is from these files is essential for our shop, it's been part of our process for 11 years. We need this data to create our custom packing slip to make sure that the correct item gets shipped to the correct customer.
This same thing is happening to me. Etsy chat mentioned to me this is the ‘official’ way our CSV will be available from now on. I process hundreds of orders a month. Something that took me seconds to design (with my CSV) will now take me 4 hours!
Just ran into this issue today as I was doing my weekly batch of orders. I am absolutely FURIOUS Etsy would do this (and with no notice!). This functionality is CENTRAL to how I run my business. Etsy is sabotaging their own sellers. Absolutely ridiculous
My orders are also unable to be exported. I contacted Etsy customer service, and they said that the order data has been delayed for the past two weeks. I don’t know how to solve this problem.
I downloaded the CSV in the last few days and the exported data is incomplete, the latest order data can't be exported, which makes it difficult for me!
I've encountered the same problem where the CSV download doesn't include all recent orders. It’s frustrating, especially since I rely on these files for processing. Hoping Etsy resolves this soon!
My store has the same problem. The downloaded CSV file does not have the latest order data. I asked Etsy customer service, but there has been no response.
Many of us use this to process our orders. How are we supposed to run our businesses efficiently when there's a 2-week delay in receiving order data? I ship DAILY and need that information to label each item. BIG FAIL, Etsy!
I have the same problem. Why are there no orders on July 21, July 22, and July 23 in the recent order export? Can anyone help me solve this problem? It's terrible!
Not knowing about other posts on this CSV problem, I created a new one complete with details on my conversation with Etsy tech support. You might want to look at my description of Etsy support's take on the "Expected Behavior" of the new CSV policy. It's pretty clueless of them to think this 2 week delay is a good thing.
