Hi friends,
I had an error in a form completion for my financial set-up. Somehow, I put the wrong ID in the wrong line, and my account was suspended. According to the page, it was supposed to take an hour for them to get back to me, but it's been more than a week and I can't figure my way out of this - other than abandoning the shop and starting over.
Any advice?

I'm having the same issue. The first time around I messed up putting my full name only under my first name, and somehow got 1 digit wrong on my SSN. I still haven't gotten a response from Etsy. So honestly, I'm unsure if middle name needs to be included. Have you filed a support request with Etsy?
I put in for a callback and after being transferred the support was unable to hear me, but I have received this message:
"Hey there,
Our engineering partners are currently aware of an issue where the "Update your taxpayer info" alert is showing to some sellers with that information already on file. We've added your report to the ongoing investigation so the team can take a deeper look into what's going on.
At this time, we do not have a timeframe for when this issue will be resolved, but please know that we prioritize our technical issues based on the impact to our marketplace. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out with any additional questions via a new ticket!"
UPDATE!
Here's how I fixed it.
I changed the shop to personally owned/run, submitted, then changed again to LLC run, submitted, and it was accepted.
