I apologize if this is the wrong thread to post this is but I didn't see where I can make a suggestion.
Dear Etsy, please consider putting in checkboxes in the checkout process where the customer can choose which shops they want to purchase from at once for items in their cart. Right now, they either have to buy from one shop at a time or all shops at one time for items in their carts. It's really disheartening to get an order and then a follow up message to cancel said order because it was placed by mistake. This has been happening way too often lately. Thank you!
There's an option to "check out from this shop only" in cart.
* Oops - sorry, I re-read your post - you mean it's all or nothing now, and we should have the option to check out from more than one, but not all shops. Got it!
I think the OP wants it so you can check out from say 3 shops out of 5 in the cart at once instead of checking out from each of the 3 individually.

I wish people would just learn to add something to their favorites as opposed to adding it to their cart. That's usually why the "oopsie, I didn't mean to order that" happens.
I often wonder how people don't notice their total is off prior to checking out. They don't realize until after they purchase.
I'm just amazed that folks can keep things in their cart while they're still browsing. To get rid of the constant pop-ups telling me there's 'only one left' or the variants of this type notice from Etsy, I immediately place items in "save for later".
So in a way I've forced myself to choose what items I want to purchase. But then as PersonalizeStation mentions, how do people to check out without noticing the total $$ they're paying?
