What's up ETSY???? I had two orders Sept 20th and NEVER Received a notification. I have been on etsy for a decade and have never had this issue!
I check my etsy shop on my iphone and desktop every day. NEVER was there the notification in my orders, notifications of sale. I am a steller seller with steller shipping I never never ship late always prior to the date stated. SO to my surprise I have a repeat client who messaged me to ask about her order. I was SHOCKED to see the order from September 20 and not only one order but two. AND the second order should have been a manual renewal as it was a made to order item and it was automatically renewed. So now I have to tell her I don't have her blanket and hopefully she chooses another options I sent her. She too is a repeat client. I have very loyal clients and this technical issue is very upsetting to me. I take my shop and clients very seriously and want to provide the best service ever. How can I when this platform is letting me down.

You are "yelling" at the choir. We are just sellers too. You need to contact Etsy through help section or Chat.
No sorry I just don't know how to get a response from Etsy and thought they would check this. Where is the chat? I've never gotten responses through their help. Thanks for the info!
Do you mean you did not get the email notice. I have not been getting them for a year now. I check my shop dashboard at a minimum once a day-most times more. If you did this and they were not showing up in your orders on your dashboard how did you find the order once the buyer notified you?
In any event I always advise people to check the order link on the dashboard daily--do not trust those email notices!
I usually always get the little red notification on my desktop or phone but one never appeared. I check my Etys desktop everyday and my phone I would get notifications.
I hope to contact Etsy about this do you know of a way to contact them and get a response? I've tried the help but never get help someone mentioned a chat?

Hi, I see that you checked in daily on Etsy (iphone and desktop), and there were no Notifications of sales. I use a desktop computer (Chrome), and whenever I get a sale, there is a red circle with a number (1, 2, etc.), above my Shop Icon on the Home Page. When I click onto my Shop Icon, under Orders and Shipping (Left Column), there is a red alert as well. I also get an email (Etsy Transaction). I'm surprised you did not have this, mainly the red alerts I mentioned.
As far as the Renewals go, I have seen Forum posts which stated listings changed to automatic on their own. And because of this, Sellers were going in every so often, and selecting all of their listings (in Listings Manager), and choosing Manual Renewal, to be on the safe side. Mine have never changed on their own, but I've selected my listings a couple of times, and put them on Manual.

Yes I usually always get them on my desktop and a bell notification or Chaching on my phone but this time nothing, I'm wondering if they had a glitch that day. I have another email for my shop but never have to check it bc I always get notified with the little red circle or chaching. If you know how to contact them other than the help which never works for me that would be awesome. Thanks for responding.

This is the one that is troubling because a sold listing should renew only if the quantity was greater than one, regardless of whether it is a manual or an auto renew. (Manual / auto renew setting should only affect whether or not a listing renews at expiration.)
Yes, it was a made to order item. If you know of a way to contact Etsy other than their help which I haven't been successful in please let me know. Thanks for your response. : )
