NEW IMAGE EDITING MAJOR ISSUE

Today I was about to edit some images in my PC and I fund out there was new options on the image editing.

1) The new image editing takes wayyyy to long to upload therefore extra time consuming that I don't have!.

2) Since I have all images with white background, in the crop section I have difficulties on define the crop lines and borders since you took off the "gray area" to contrast the white background and crop lines. I had to manage it by re-crop the images on Photoshop and upload them, extra time that I need to use to craft jewelry orders!!!

Please fix it ASAP!

Given how Etsy screwed up photos that were cropped on Etsy the last time they changed image dimensions, I would not use Etsy to crop anything, except maybe a custom order that was going to sell immediately.

I loved cropping on etsy's new listing form. What I loved, is that I could click on one pix, crop, then apply, look at pix, and then easily crop again. The save was for all the pix in one click. Now with this thin white lined hard to see crop tool, in addition to hard to see and maneuver, everytime I crop one pix, I save the crop, it spins, then to crop some more, I have to do it all again. Before, the saving was just one time for all my pix. Also, another issue with this new cropping tool, is if I look at a pix and do not need to crop it, and click cancel, then a pop up comes up asking me am I sure. I click yes discard but then the spinning again to save nothing. This is the antithesis of the original crop tool. The original crop tool was fast easy fun. This one is hard to see, and with so many clicks and spinning even when you do not choose to change anything with any photo, long and tedious. Etsy please someone out there. Please review this new system. Or let us choose which crop system we wish to use. Is anyone listening. Love ya etsy but please help us help you. luv k1

Just PLEASE let us opt out of this new crop tool and give us the old form back.  Nothing works right any more and I had all my photos edited before I uploaded them to the old form.  It was easier and faster.  I can't get this new form to do anything right and now the photos look like crap!!!!!  I never asked for this and I can't list like this!!!!!

Have images with white backgrounds as well. Etsy recently changed somethng which affected the appearance of my items in the app. The image is surrounded by a big negative space (the thumbnails are not saved from the main photo, only for the app) which makes my item almost disappear in white space. I contacted support, but until now have not heard back. This is most probably the cause of the big downfall of app views.

I too have this problem and nothing works to edit any of my photos. Why didn't they leave it the way it was. So easy and fast for me. Now at a stand still.

Obviously the editing does NOT work for some of us.....way too much time consumed to simply crop an image and the dialog box always shows up saying OOPS, as if it were the fault of the image and not the new editing format. The old crop worked just fine thank you. The images are PSD by me before they appear on the listing....all I want to do is crop. Now I'll have to PSD that beforehand as well....PHOOEY!

Lots of spinning circles before loads up. Takes ages. Also photo transported sometimes is black,blank and you have to cancel then it drops whole listing sometimes and you have to start again unfortunately. Very very slow process of loading up photos with circle spinning spinning spinning. Frozen page sometimes too. Very very glitchy. Still early days .

I can see they're trying to improve it, but I wonder if they actually tested it themselves. A nice attempt, but it ended up worse.
