Hi everyone! I just made my etsy store about 3 days ago and have a handful of listings. When I search for a listing by the exact name, it doesn't come up in the etsy search. I can find my shop when searching by name though, so I'm unsure if its an indexing issue. Any insight is welcome!
Your shop is indexed. If I search for Halloween, I get 5 results in your shop. If you were not indexed then a search for your shop wouldn't show up at all.
ETA: I did a search for this title: Halloween Party Invitation Digital Download - Editable - Trendy Skull - Printable Digital Download -Customizable - Checkered - Color
Got 57 results and none of them was your item.
I tried removing all the hyphen's and got the same 57 results.
I did a search for Halloween Party Invitation Digital Download and got 15,000+ results so not sure that item shows up anywhere or not.
Remove the repeats from your tags (they are a waste of space). Repeating the same word in 8 of 13 tags has literally no advantage, and limits the number and type of customers who might see your item.
@EverlastingExpressCo: Keep in mind that if everyone on this forum searched for the exact same phrase they would all get different results. Because of "personalized searches" you can NOT rely on anyone's search results to define how your listing is ranked. There are many many factors that affect listing placement and the relative weight of each factor probably changes constantly. Even exact word matches to your title no longer ensure that you will appear on page 1. Your listing may be appearing on page 251 and Etsy is only showing the first 250 pages to the world.
