I am Dila from UK. I have a new shop on Etsy! 2 of my customers told me they couldn't buy the items they added to their cart today. I contacted Contact Etsy and they said they transferred it to the engineering department. I didn't receive an email. The chat conversation is still there. The representative there is not answering me. Since the chat is not closed, the system won't let me reconnect. Are there any other shops experiencing this? Can you give me some advice?

Those were most likely scam messages since you are a new shop. I can't buy from your shop because you don't ship to the US.
The customers were real. I have been selling on Etsy for 4 years. Believe me, I can distinguish scam messages. I also tried to add the product to my cart and buy it from my other store. I really can't. Thank you for your response anyway!

Yes, I cannot edit things in my cart or checkout without getting a uh oh message .
You are not enrolled in Etsy Payments - that's probably why.
The rep told me this first. She sent me a sign up link. And when I clicked it, it showed that I was already registered. In the payment settings, they said that I was registered for etsy payment. After seeing that, they said they would transfer me to engineering and I never heard back. I don't even know if they transferred me.
I had a repeat customer just contact me and say that she cannot check out with Apple Pay. She gets a message that says something is wrong with the URL. Very frustrating for her and me as the seller!
@joyfulpackage I'm afraid you will need to contact Etsy support again - see if you can send a message (via Help > Contact us) rather than using support chat. You should have payment method icons (Visa, PayPal etc) showing on your shop homepage but they are missing.
Also check that you have a valid payment card on file (for billing) and that you have completed the Legal and tax information page.
