My account was suspended even though I verified through plaid weeks ago.

Has this happened to anyone else? I've had the banner on my dashboard saying that I need to verify my account by x number days and I've been ignoring it because I'd already done it. The second to the last day I hit the verify account button just to make sure and got the "Already verified" message. And then two days later my account is suspended. I filed a support request and sent a screen shot of the "Your account has been suspended please verify your account" banner with the "Bank account status :Verified" right under it and the issue has still not been resolved and my funds are being held.

That stinks. Sounds like a glitch but only Etsy can fix it.

what happened to your account now? Are they activated?  I have veried my payment accoun but few days later I got suspended too..

It came back up today after being down for six days but I didn't hear anything back from support yet and the red you're suspended until you verify banner is still present. It's all been very odd/confusing/frustrating.

Yes it is now, but wasn't the past 6 days, hopefully it stays that way the red you're suspended until you verify banner still being present makes me a bit concerned.

@WhiteRabbitFiberArts  Your shop is open, but the payment options for your shop are not visible.  When putting an item of yours in my cart, I get ''all payment methods for this shop are temporarily suspended.''  Probably not the reason for the red banner, but is your credit card expired?

It is not =( I have no idea what is going on... All of my listings were just gone, for almost a week and they just became visible again today.

This is what I'm worried about. Automated bot suspension due to not verifying a defunct bank account that was closed 10 years ago when I left the US.

Twice now, "supervisors" have told me that this won't happen, but I'm not so sure. 

Just this week one told me that "the red banner will probably just disappear at some point from your account". And a few months ago, one told me that "oh. Back then you probably would have been able to change your banking country" - er no, banking countries were only brought in when Direct Checkout was invented a d that locked you in - clueless. So my faith that I won't be suspended isn't that strong right now. Anyway, in 18 days we'll see.

similar thing has just happened to me. logged on this morning and am presented by a red "your shop is suspended since your bank account wasnt verified" even though it was verified and when i go to payment settings it shows as verified. no idea what im supposed to do when ive been trying to contact etsy customer support on a different issue for weeks with no reply as of yet.

Same here.  Exactly as you've said.  No real way of getting hold of Etsy to rectify it.

We've discovered a red banner on our dashboard this morning stating that our shop is suspended because we, apparently, haven't verified our bank details. Although, when clicking on payment settings, it shows as already verified! It also looks like our products are still visible and available to buy on the marketplace too. Very confusing!

Exactly the same here - it says our shop is suspended because our "bank account has not been verified". Then we go to payment settings and it shows verfied.
