My etsy shop "Cutiethrillz" has been shut down and then reinstated about 3 times within the last 3-4 months. It first got temporaliy suspended because my account was hacked which is understandable. However, the hacker was dealt with pretty swiftly and is no longer a threat to my account at all. Etsy allowed me to reset my password and enable 2FA (After 2 months of countless emails and appeals, practically begging to be reinstated), which solved the problem. My account was finally back up and running by January. However, it keeps getting shut down and then reinstated. It's open for about a week and then gets shut down again, and then someone from etsy support sends an email saying i can reset my password and log back in.
This has been ruining my business. I currently have an order that i was working on and i can't even communicate with my client right now. I also have $175 in my payment account which hasn't been deposited to me. Im not sure if anyone else has had this issue before, it seems like my account is just broken, like theres a glitch or error that keeps triggering their ai to close my shop. I'm not sure what to do anymore and im losing hope. I doubt etsy has this, but If there's some sort of techincal support or IT ticket system out there, please link it down below. thanks

What were you selling? 1400 sales is a lot to get by with if it's something Etsy doesn't allow.
i just sell streaming graphics/art like twitch overlays and emotes. Everything was 100% made by me and there's never been an issue with my products. the reason my shop got shut down originally was because my account was hacked. the other 2 times were literally due to error (etsy support told me they made a mistake). and now this time they won't even give me a reason.
@CutieThrillz looks like Etsy closed your shop permanently
Just because the items were made by you - if they were inspired by something or somebody else - you can't do that. I know a lot of anime is not allowed on Etsy.
Sad that it sometimes takes so long for Etsy to get smart.
if that were the issue, etsy would have told me about a copyright infringement issue instead of literally saying they suspended my account due to error. And i don't draw fanart or anything that looks like its made from another franchise/company
Etsy is really good at being evasive and not giving the real reason.
I saw some Twitch stuff when I Googled.
Etsy usually only tells you if the IP holder files a DCMA. If they take it down as counterfeit they usually say that items don't meet creativity standards and don't tell SHlT else.
ITS SO FRUSTRATING! Like if they would just be direct with their sellers, alot of issues would be resolved.
UPDATE: just tried signing into etsy again and got this message
"You can't access your account. We've noticed possible suspicious activity on your account. For security purposes, we've temporarily limited your access to protect your information until you reach out to us."
That seems to indicate once again they think your account has been compromised. If that is the case keep at it, be clear and as short as possible outlining the situation from the beginning. I wish you luck!
