My ABANDONED CART CODE is showing to people still in my shop!

I set up an abandoned cart code in June. My understanding is that this is to be emailed to shoppers who have signed up to receive marketing emails from Etsy. 

Just now I read a reply in another Etsy forum from a seller who was trying to help me with another question that they were able to see this abandoned cart code while they were still in my shop!!!

Etsy, I do not wish to offer this discount to ALL shoppers, only those who have abandoned their cart!

I looked at my shop in an incognito window but didn't see the code. The forum reply to me was about 2 hours ago, so hopefully it was just a  momentary glitch!

I do not see it even when I add an item to my cart.

I don't see a code anywhere, not on your home page, listing pages nor if I add an item to my cart.

@PrairiePrimitives  I continue to see the sidebar for the June discount since early this morning for your mason jar listing. I signed out, deleted cookies and shut down computer and cell but the sidebar discount still continues, quite frequently. I can send chat support a screenshot tomorrow if they need it.

@PrairiePrimitives  I sent chat support a screenshot. Hopefully, a tech will remove the June discount from my shop because it's getting really annoying to see the sidebar constantly.

Some apps, like Honey, can find old discount codes to apply if the code is a simple one like SAVE1O etc
