A buyer just reached out to us on a cancelled order that we agreed to cancel for them as they needed to change something. Cancelled the order, buyer just reached out asking us why we shipped the item when they requested to cancel. We checked the order and we had indeed cancelled it and refunded. Buyer shared the email screenshot from etsy. Saying there order has been dispatched. Nothing has been dispatched to them, the order was cancelled long before they got that notification

Thats what i thought at first, but looked at both the cancelled order and the email, both order numbers matched and also said it was from our store

maybe it's a scam to try to get you to refund again?
I was thinking the same thing ... an unscrupulous buyer tweaking Etsy emails trying to circumvent the site!
I doubt it, they wanted to change the address as they messed up, so we cancelled and they've reordered, not exactly something a scammer would do, they also have tons of 5 star reviews too
Weird.
at least you know it’s been refunded and you know you didn’t ship it so if it is a glitch I guess it doesn’t ultimately really cause an issue other than being odd.
