Monday's deposit not received

I received the email this lunchtime to say that my funds were on the way. They are normally in by 3pm but still not received this evening and the money is now back in the Etsy payment account saying scheduled for tomorrow. There is a green dotted line underneath the amount available and no option to 'request it now' either. I'm panicking a bit here, this has never happened before

The next available date for deposit is tomorrow, which it's already set to. You can't request it earlier than that.

While it shouldn't have bounced back, at least it did and it's there ready to go tomorrow as opposed to disappeared into the etsy -> bank void

The most common reason for this to happen is your credit card has expired. Etsy will not deposit if this is the case.

If some other reason you need to contact Etsy support by going to your dashboard and click on Help>contact us

@ThePurplePuppy  If the card was expired, the deposit wouldn't be sent at all, the deposit date would keep changing until the card was valid.

Not true that it doesn't get sent.  Sometimes the email is sent, it appears to leave and then is returned to shop payment account and the card is about to expire.

The other reason is the bank.  Right now there is a banking issue affecting deposits at some banks.  It is possible it did get to the bank but because of the situation the bank refused it and it was returned.

Card doesn't expire until 2025. I'm trying to get hold of my bank to see if they even saw the deposit today.

I've got 2 Etsy shops going and the deposit from one of them went in no problem, it's just the main income!

It seems to be some sort of problem / glitch

Some sellers in the UK Etsy Sellers Facebook Group have also reported this happening -- but others (myself included) have received their payments as normal.

I've been finding the last few weeks sometimes it may take an additional half or full business day for some deposits.

I just had this happen to me, it didn't send it back, but where it usually is in my bank account in the "pending" section before it clears, it wasn't there, like it wasn't actually sent. So, it was delayed going through which I have never had happen before! I'm thinking along the lines of the others with it either being a glitch or a change in how long it's taking to go through and be deposited right now. I'm just going to plan on it taking the extra day or day and a half.

This has also just happened to me Feb 2025. Etsy says sent, Bank says not received. Very concerning.

This issue is affecting a number of sellers - there are a couple of more recent posts about it. Etsy are not being particularly helpful at the moment, but I suggest logging it with their customer service chat so at least it's on record.

I have just posted about this, I get daily deposits. It started Friday and the guy I got on chat was super helpful and managed to get Etsy to manually transfer my funds...then Monday's funds left my account really late in the day and didn't clear until the evening which is unusual. Yesterday and today the funds are stuck again and I cannot get chat to work (got through to someone yesterday and she cut me off as soon as I asked if they could manually transfer like they had on Friday, chat hasn't worked for me since)

Really frustrating.

Same here, Monday missing payment.  Reached out to Etsy customer service, they advised to contact my bank.  My bank confirmed nothing is pending or in process for deposit.  Etsy suggested to wait 3-5 days, but no checking into the situation was offered.  In all my years, never had a missing payment till now.  Hope its resolved asap.
