Missing 'Name the Option' dropdown missing on 'Edit Variations' screen

Recently when I want to add a new option to an existing Variation the "Name The Option" dropdown is missing. I need to add the new iPhone 14 size option to my iPhone Cases, but I am unable to do so. The only work-around I have found is to delete the existing "Size" variation and add a new variation, name it "Size" and add all the existing sizes again.

It's not a drop down. It's a box you type in.

Hit edit variations - variations box pops up

On the left is the variation name - size, with the options for qty and price varies.

On the right is a box at the top to type in, with Add button next to it, and underneath all your current options.

Type in the box, click add, then move the options below around into whatever order you want by clicking and holding, and then dragging.

Thanks for this, my problem is that the box you type into with the Add button on the top right does not appear. There is nowhere to add a new option to the existing list. This is a recent problem which started in the last couple of weeks. Prior to this happening I have had no problems adding more options.
