i have been responding to my customers within 24hours, but somehow the system is not recording it. I sent many emails to technical support without success. I also receive the same messages from one customer twice… can anyone explain how to deal with that ? Thanks.
Are you using the Etsy app instead of a computer? Another seller recently complained that her messages weren't sending or getting counted due to glitches in the app. I sometimes get 2 messages from buyers, I presume that is them accidentally sending twice. I just copy & paste the same reply for purposes of answering all messages for Star Seller.
You could also setup an auto-reply message to help with star seller metrics if that is your concern. You can add FAQ to the auto reply & follow up with an actual message to customers afterwards.

The app sucks. Use the browser instead.
I recently had a scam message that I could not reply to OR mark as spam on the app, so had to switch to my laptop to mark as spam. I was headed out of town and worried the whole time I would get more!
