A customer messaged me twice. The first one I answered right away as usual. The second one is showing I responded late. My Star seller status will be affected due to the double message from the same customer. Can This be fixed in order to keep my star status??
"help request" message threads are separate from the others, as they are the ones starting the clock ticking for a case to be opened, they are deliberately kept separate, as they are so important.
You have to reply to each new message thread, as Etsy specifically states
they are highlighted in blue, so you don't miss them
There is nothing to fix, you need to reply to them.
You can go back and mark the one you didn't answer, as SPAM and your stats should come back up, just remember ALL initial messages even if duplicate need to be answered. Also the ones from other sellers thanking you for your purchase, that seems the surprise ones even though the SS terms say ALL initial messages.
do NOT spam help request messages, that's a way for an instant refund if a case is opened
