I am always super on top of my messages (generally answering as soon as the message comes in/within minutes of receiving the notification). But over the last few days I've noticed messages appearing seemingly out of thin air. I started off the month with 100% in my star seller rating and have dropped to 97% and then 95% but in both cases the messages are appearing in my inbox days after the fact. Yesterday I was at 97% and today I dropped to 95% and a message from 5 days ago showed up in my inbox that I have never seen before. I'm terrified that I'm going to lose my star status and I have no idea what's going on. Is anyone else experiencing this glitch? I've worked so so hard on my customer service and this devastating to me.
I had the same thing happened to me but around 3-4 days ago. Messages that I’ve truly never been notified of before kelt popping up out of nowhere apparently dated from several days ago
It hasn't happened to me, but it did happen to my friend. We called it the "mystery message." So, it seems something glitchy is going on.
I have contacted Etsy two times to notify them that messages and previews were not received by my customers. This has been happening for many months now. I have to contact my customers via email because my shop is all about personalizations and sending previews very quickly. I was told I would be contacted by a tech team, but I never hear back from Etsy. It makes me very sad.
Every couple of days, something new breaks or stops working properly, e.g., Australian zip codes, images hiding titles and prices, delayed message (that’s just this week).
My advice to Etsy,
1. stop testing until the platform is stable, and
2. suspend the SSP until you can guarantee Etsy technical issues aren’t a barrier to seller compliance.
