I am having an issue with messages appearing at random, days after they were apparently sent, and no notifications for them. I’ve been frequently messaging customers so I see my messages inbox all the time- but this morning, 2 messages from different people only just now appeared (one in my inbox and the other one in spam when it wasn't spam- without a notification from either one, not even the email notification I have set in addition to the app notification, because this has been an issue before). The messages were from 5 and 6 days ago, but only just now appeared this morning.
Furthermore, since this other issue seems to be related to this bug- both messages happen to be asking when a particular item would be in stock, but it was definitely in stock at the time. In case it helps to know, both messages were linking to the item they thought wasn't in stock, but it was- if maybe the link to the item somehow prevented the messages from displaying.
I am adamant to maintain top quality customer service, getting back to them right away as often as possible, while at the same time I don't want to be discredited in my star seller rating for not responding to a message in time that was placed 24+ hours ago because of not being given a notification, and not even appearing in my messages folder. I would appreciate it so much if this issue gets fixed. Thanks,

You should log in every day and check messages yourself. Others have posted about message notifications not being reliable.
Thanks but like I said it's not just that the notifications weren't coming through, but upon seeing my messages folder at least a few times a day, the messages 5 & 6 days old only just recently appeared in the folder. Other people's messages were coming through when they sent them, just not those 2 particular messages. Yeah the message system has been buggy for me so many times over the years.
I know its not related to notifications or messages, but I just uploaded a new listing of a buttons pendant...and the video isn't showing! I deleted it, then uploaded the video again...still a white space where the video should be. There must be a bug in Etsy somewhere causing issues? Update: an hour on, and the video is showing up now.
If anyone is seeing this, I didn't get my star seller badge for on time message response for September because of this glitch!
