About a month ago, a buyer started a case, right after purchasing, cause the item is sold out (to her). I responded within the case multiple times, within a couple of hours. Also emailed her (the only place she responded with, yes ship it).
the issue: the case sent out an automated message - to which I responded within the case. That didn't update to the message board apparently. It wasn't her private message, but the automated case message.
so, I responded promptly, via case and email, but my message was dinged as no -replied and for that, they took my star seller. (Does that affect my algorithm ranking?)
either way, I reached out to chat, where they told me they'd send it to technical and let me know. Did not and nobody responds to my chats at all anymore.
sent an email about a week ago, also no response.
what would you do?
absolutely nothing. the purple blob is pretty useless anyway.
Also, it's quite possible you lost it because of the case rather than because of the message.
Thanks! They specified it was due to response rate - tht was the only message, without response.
glad it doesn't affect the algorithm, but don't love how easy it is to lose any of those important markers.
Did you respond in the app or on a laptop/desktop? App can be glitchy.
