Message glitch

Since yesterday all my messages say "first time reaching out". Some of these threads are a week old. Some are continued conversations and each time the buyer responds, it's highlighted with the blue "first time reaching out" label. I've responded to a few and it gives me the "nice job" message, even though this is a message I've responded to multiple times. I'm having a hard time not looking like the person that needs to have the last word in a conversation. I'm concerned I'm going to lose my star seller badge because of this glitch.... anyone else experienced this since this week's update?

Several sellers have reported this happening, I think Etsy is aware of it.

A couple of months ago I actually contacted Etsy and asked the agent I spoke with to forward a request to let conversations restart after x months. I've got conversations with repeat buyers that go back years and it's very awkward to manage. And I get messages daily but very few are initial messages. So it feels like I spend a lot of time messaging but for star seller only a teensy bit count toward the badge.

Your issue sounds like somehow your message info got reset ... but I'm kinda hoping its Etsy seeing if they can batch messages somehow.

I know what you mean by last word though ... I think I'd just send a smiley face.
