Message Response Rate continues to decline

My message response rate for the star seller continues to decline even though I’ve maintained speedy responses (typically four hours or less) and haven’t missed a single message.  


I’ve read articles on this and cannot figure out why it continues to decline when I am doing everything required of me.  I’ve lost my star seller badge and it’s effecting my shop greatly.  

I’ve checked my messages and it doesn’t appear any have gone unnoticed.  What am I missing? How can I fix this? Is it an error within Etsy? 

Please help!

Hi, did you download the CSV File to see what Messages it claims you did not answer?  Bear in mind, the SS Badge which was awarded today, April 1 pertains to the Metrics for the last 3 months (Jan., Feb., March).

Also, if you received any Message which you did not Initiate, it must be Responded to or Marked as Spam (I would only do this with true Spam. i.e. "Buy my gems 30% off").
