I run two Etsy shops. One is purely digital (LMNOPrintShop) and the other is physical, selling candles. LMNOPrintShop has pretty much run on its own for the last 5 years, with occasional customer questions popping up, so I focus on checking out my candle shop multiple times a day, as I get regular sales, and anything regarding LMNOPrintShop I expect to see in my regular email, which also gets checked multiple times per day.
The problem is, I haven't been getting notifications from Etsy via email about customer messages, and have now over the course of the month missed 3 messages! My "message response rate" dropped down to 80%, and I've been a "star seller" (I know, who cares) every month from the beginning of the program. At first, instead of the email giving specifics (SoAndSo asked a question, log in to see), it's a very general "You Have a Message" with a heart. I've checked these before and they've been Etsy spam, but now apparently they are customer questions/messages?
Is this just me? Why would Etsy make a switch like this? Is there a way in my settings I can change something?
Just check into the digital shop too.
Etsy's notifications are sometimes unreliable, and it really is best to log in to all of your shops at least once a day
