Well this could explain why sometimes I'll see a post here or on Reddit saying "I don't recognize the last 4 digits of the bank account number that's showing on my Etsy account! Was my account hacked somehow, but the only thing changed was that?"
Yes I just spent four days on chat because I couldn’t speak to a human being on Etsy and unplugged the verifying service to find out finally today that this is a problem with my PNC bank. They mask the number and make it completely different than my number so I can’t get into my Etsy account and change my account until I go to my bank and find out what number they have used in place of my real number. Am I frustrated? Oh yeah
