Made 9 sale/minimum 5 to get star seller

Hello everyone,

I have made 9 sales and it’s still showing pending, however minimum I need is 5, even after days and days it still doesn’t provide the star, and I have done the minimum of 5 sales.

any suggestions?

When was your first sale? Was it less than 90 days ago? If so then that is why it says pending. To qualify for the star it needs to have been at least 90 days since your first sale.

"How your shop is evaluated for the Star Seller badge

Messages, shipping, ratings, orders, and sales are calculated to determine Star Seller. In order to be evaluated, you need to have been on Etsy’s platform for 90 days since your first sale and comply with applicable policies, including our Seller Policy  and our Terms of Use . "

OP, the next time to qualify for Star Seller will be August 1. In addition to the minimum of 5 sales, you must obtain $300 in sales. Also, you must meet metrics in messages, shipping with tracking, and reviews.

@BlooMandBlossoMbliss: On June 1st did you also met the minimum sales amount (I believe it is AUD $350) and was it more than 90 days since your first sale? Only then do the other metrics (messages, shipping, reviews) apply.

No, not yet, so have made $235

I believe there is also a $300 minimum too. Good luck! You'll get there!

I actually mean, you know when you get a green tick at the bottom when you successfully accomplish the goals, even though I have made the 9 sales from 5 that I need it get the tick, it’s still now showing, I know I can’t be star seller yet because I’ve made less than $300. Sorry I don’t know if that makes sense

@BlooMandBlossoMbliss  see my reply above. Has it been 90 days since your first sale? It will say pending until you pass the 90 days mark.

@BlooMandBlossoMbliss since your first order? Not just 90 days since you opened. Pretty sure if it has been 90 days since your first order it wouldn't say pending there.

I started on April 1st and made my last sale 27th June so without the frame

When was your first sale? not your start date, not your last sale...your very first sale? Look in your completed orders for the date.

It's my experience that this whole star seller scheme is a joke. 

Over 500 5 star ratings but if you get  one sale with one 4 star and not one else leaves a review, you don't get a badge. 

If I make a dropped shipment sale, I don't receive the transit number, so I lose that badge AND they withhold payment. Right now they see withholding ALL my money. I don't know why or for how long because no one gets back to me.

It's a farce
