MTO Digital Listings Automatically Marked as Completed and Delivered

I have several Made-To-Order digital sales over the last few days that have gone straight to my "Completed" tab.  I double checked and they are all listed as "Made To Order" and are listed as digital downloads, so they should be in my "New" tab to start out with.  I am also not able to "finish" any of the orders by uploading the files, that option isn't even available.  The orders went straight to being "delivered" even though I never even uploaded it.

This listing, suggests it would be made to order, but it's not listed as such, it actually says instant download. It doesn't however show the file type, which all instant downloads do.

Definitely looks like a glitch.

I had Etsy look into it and they said it is definitely a glitch. I have no way of uploading the digital files to my customers.  

I hope all sellers that use the MTO feature for digital downloads are checking their Completed tab for these orders that they may not otherwise see.

Update: I discovered the cause, these listings were updated in Vela.  I only switched out an image in each listing and did not change any of the "About this listing" settings.  The glitch happens when I published them in Vela, they toggled back to "Instant Downloads" in Etsy.  Sellers of MTO digital downloads beware.  I have contacted Vela about this glitch.

Hi! The same is happening to me since more than a month ago. I contacted technical support and they told me they are working on it. But now I see your message from last year. So it seems nothing has been done.

Hi there,  This only occurred to listings that I updated using Vela.  I have not had an issue since I brought it to their attention.  If you use a 3rd party platform to edit your listings, I would contact them.

I don't use Vela, I upload my listings on Etsy. I don't use any app.
